SPECSERVER INSTRUCTIONS

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: 

The deliverable(s) provided to you are considered Confidential Information under the terms of your license agreement with Microsoft. They should be treated with a reasonable degree of care and safeguarding. WMLA will not re-release previously delivered assets to your company. We recommend that deliverables be downloaded to a secure central location that is accessible by several authorized individuals who possess proper knowledge and documentation on handling (with respect to both License Agreement and Compliance and Robustness Rules).

SpecServer Download Instructions

Customer Activation Steps:

1. Log into our IP Licensing Administration Portal (IP Licensing).

 

2. Receive Deliverables

  1. Once logged in to the IP Licensing Administration Portal, click “Dev Center” at the top of the page. (This will redirect you to a new page.)

  2. Click the “Sign In” button at the top of the Dev Center Page.

  3. Once signed in, click “SpecServer” near the top of the page. You should find your deliverables listed there.

 

 

  • Click on the “Spec/File” package name and follow the instructions for downloading your package to a secure location at your company.

  • Your deliverable will remain available to download for 60 days

  • Please download deliverables to a secure central location at your company that is accessible by several authorized individuals who possess proper knowledge and documentation on handling (with respect to both License Agreement and Compliance and Robustness Rules).

Troubleshooting SpecServer:

  • Deliverables (porting kits, documentation, source code, object code, certificates) will only be released to the technical contact listed on your license agreement. To change your technical contact please submit a contact change request through our IP Licensing Administration Portal here: IP Licensing or via email to ipla@microsoft.com

 

  • If the SpecServer website is not working and you cannot download your package(s) please email ipla@microsoft.com with a screenshot and description of the technical issue.

     

  • If you have any questions about the actual packages you’ve downloaded please contact: ipla@microsoft.com.

     

  • If you did not download your deliverables within the 60 day window please email ipla@microsoft.com for assistance.
